For Sporty minded, adventurous explorers Zermatt will always remain a main topic at the table. Surrounded by nearly 40 «four-thousenders» Zermatt offers a breathtaking scenery. The most modern 3S cablecars will open a 360° panoramic beauty for you to cherish. On days with a clear view, the eye catches a glimpse of the Mont Blanc or even the Gran Paradiso in the Graian Alps.
Day trips from Zermatt to Cervinia or Valtournenche, into neighbouring Italy, are not only a culinary highlight. The kilometre-long runs at the foot of the Matterhorn are unique in Europe. Around 360 kilometres of pistes divided into 74 km of blue pistes, 227 km of red pistes, 20 km of black pistes and 36 km of yellow freeride pistes. In total the Zermatt-Matterhorn and Breuil-Cervinia ski regions have 56 lifts and approx. 150 pistes. From the ski beginner to the vertical killer, Zermatt never ceases to enchant.
In addition to the sporting activities, culinary delights are a very discipline in its own right in Zermatt. One that, between the peaks of the Alps, offers the highest and is second to none. Be it be the legendary Vrony Burger at Chez Vrony, the Dover Sole and the world-famous Mille Feuilles at the Restaurant zum See with Marion or Markus or the organic veal chop with Zermatt quiche at the Findlerhof with the Schwery Francis family.
Since we have a friendly relationship with all the mountain restaurants, we are also happy to make table reservations.
The Air Zermatt offers an extraordinary experience. A sightseeing flight around the Matterhorn with subsequent ride down to Zermatt or Cervinia. Probably the worlds best helicopter pilots not only guarantee goose bumps during a sightseeing tour in our breathtaking nature, they are also our saviours who come from the skies! Air Zermatt are known to be one of the best rescue organisations in the world.
